We support the middle and upper-grade homeschooling community! Kristen Fewel has educated students in Language Arts, Health, and Yoga for more than 20 years in public schools, learning groups, and homeschooling co-ops. We are a certified vendor for Sky Mountain, iLEAD, and Suncoast Preparatory Academy charter schools. We also offer affordable monthly payments for private pay families.

Literature & Short Stories
Fridays 9am-10:15am
Learn about the nature of life and relationships through critical reading, writing,
and discussion of literary and poetical works.
$350/semester (16 weeks)
Yoga for Tweens & Teens
Fridays 10:45am -11:45am
This is a physical education class involving gentle movement and stretching for the benefit of stress reduction, mobility, and overall health & wellness. Students will experience different approaches to yoga and mindfulness such as breath-centered, vinyasa, yin, and restorative. Per our agreement with charter schools, this class is secular in nature, and does not involve any spiritual practices such as chanting.
$350/semester (16 weeks)
Dynamic Yoga Anatomy: Organ Systems
Fridays 12:30pm-1:45pm
Experience anatomy in a fun and engaging way through the study of yoga and its effects on health and well-being. This is a companion class to Yoga for Tweens & Teens, but may be taken as a stand-alone class. Dynamic Yoga Anatomy is ideal for students considering careers in the Health Sciences or Holistic Health.
$350/semester (16 weeks)

Critical Reading & Writing Skills
Students will hone their reading and writing skills with biographical articles and famous speeches while improving grammar and vocabulary using Wordly Wise 3000, a vocabulary-building curriculum.

Readers' & Writers' Circle
Learning about the nature of life and relationships through reading, writing,
and discussion of literary and poetical works while improving writing skills using IEW's Fix it!
punctuation and grammar curriculum.

Nice News: Historic & Current Events that Shine Light on Good Things
News and events from a humanitarian perspective where people are working toward good things for each other and for the planet. Some historical and present-day individuals we will learn about are Mohandas Gandhi, Nelson Mandela, Jane Goodall, Temple Grandin, and Greta Thunberg. Students will be supported in their research and reporting on topics that elevate humanitarian and environmental causes.
